6 years agoTexas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor is not in the Rangers lineup Monday. Interestingly, this is the first day of Elvis Andrus' return pushing Jurickson Profar out of an everyday role at shortstop. Profar will take Odor's place at second and hit fifth. Profar has been significantly better than Odor so far this season, with a .243 batting average, eight home runs and four steals in 267 plate appearances. In contrast, Odor has a .217 batting average with one home run and one steal. It will be extremely interesting to see how playing time between these two shakes out over the coming weeks.--Ben Rolfe
