Odubel Herrera Records Home Run In Blowout Defeat
6 years agoWith the Philadelphia Phillies well on their way to an ugly defeat at Miller Park to the Milwaukee Brewers Friday night, outfielder Odubel Herrera added to his stats. The 26-year-old, who’s been in a terrible slump as of late, drilled a solo home run to right in the ninth inning of a 13-2 defeat. After an electric April that saw him hit .367, Herrera has been struggling at the plate, now hitting .286 on the season. Even in the most recent stretch of games, his struggled have been dramatic, as he’s hit just .103 across his last seven games. With the home run, his first in nearly a month, Herrera, and the Phillies will hope his slump is behind him.
