Trevor Story Leads NL In RBI
7 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story broke up a no-hitter in the seventh inning on Thursday by lacing a run-scoring double, and that shot gave him sole possession of first place for RBI in the National League. Following a down year in 2017, Story has bounced back with fervor as he's hitting .270 with 14 home runs, eight stolen bases, and a strikeout rate of just 26.6%, 4.5% better than he's ever had in the majors. Story could end up in the All-Star game, and with the state of Colorado's pitching, he could find himself serving as one of the heroes of the season if he can keep driving in runners on the regular.
