Eddie Rosario Scores Only Run Twins Can Muster Against Tigers
7 years agoMinnesota Twins left fielder Eddie Rosario provided the only run on the scoreboard for the visiting team on Thursday. The Twins fell to the Detroit Tigers 3-1, but they led 1-0 up until the bottom of the seventh inning. Starting at designated hitter, Rosario just missed a home run in the top of the first and had to settle for a double. One Eduardo Escobar single later and Rosario scored. That would be as good as the offense got for the Twins for the rest of the day. Rosario is now three for his last 20, but fantasy owners should still trot him out there. Remember, he’s only struck out 45 times in 254 at-bats and is still sporting a .311 average. Rosario and the Twins will face off against the Cleveland Indians on Friday.
