Sonny Gray Once Again Stumbles At Home
6 years agoThe unpredictability that is Sonny Gray once again took center stage for the New York Yankees Wednesday night in the Bronx. The right-hander once again struggled at home, going just five innings and surrendering four runs on seven hits and two walks. He struggled with pitch count, tossing over 30 pitches in the first inning. Gray managed to limit the damage until the fourth inning when he gave up a three-run home run that put Washington ahead. A fifth-inning home run got him off the hook, resulting in a no-decision for him. The Yankees would lose the game, 5-4.
