Tommy Fleetwood Looking To Repeat U.S. Open Magic
6 years agoA year ago, Tommy Fleetwood was little known outside of the hardcore golf circles, but after a fourth-place finish in his first-ever U.S. Open, he became more of a household name. That finish not only increased his popularity, but it secured his PGA Tour card. While Fleetwood still hasn't won on the PGA Tour, he does have six international victories and sits 12th in the official world golf rankings. Fleetwood is ready to change that and is ready for the test a U.S. Open brings. “I enjoy a test where it’s just grinding away at you all day, you never get to switch off.” Fleetwood likely won't be as under-the-radar as he was in 2017, but he still offers sneaky appeal this week.
