Tony Finau Looking For Major Breakthrough At U.S. Open
7 years agoTony Finau heads to Shinnecock Hills for this week's U.S. Open in search of a breakthrough victory. The young star has only one career win on the PGA Tour, but seems to be knocking on the door of elite status. Finau impressed the golf world earlier this year when he fought through a severe ankle injury to finish tied for 10th at the Masters. The 28-year-old certainly has the length to compete this week, as he ranks second on the PGA Tour in driving distance, but Finau will need to find his putting stroke to have a chance to win at Shinnecock Hills. This will be Finau's third career U.S. Open appearance. He finished tied for 14th in 2015 and missed the cut in 2016. He is a very attractive DFS value option this week.
