Ehire Adrianza Turns In Massive Game Tuesday
Ehire Adrianza turned in a huge game against the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday. Adrianza went 3-for-4 with a grand slam to provide all the offense in his team's 4-0 win. The utility infielder normally isn't known as an offensive force but he certainly could have fooled the Tigers on Tuesday. Adrianza is now batting .256 with a .749 OPS, three homers and 14 RBI on the season. He isn't a factor in standard fantasy leagues but he could be worth a look as a cheap option in DFS formats the next time he's in the starting lineup.

Ehire Adrianza Enters Free Agency
Ehire Adrianza elected free agency on Monday after clearing waivers and being removed from the team's 40-man roster last week. Because of elbow and shoulder injuries, Adrianza missed most of the 2023 season and managed to play in only five games for Atlanta, going hitless in 11 plate appearances with a walk and four strikeouts. In 15 games for Triple-A Gwinnett and High-A Rome, he went 10-for-47 (.213) with no home runs, four RBI, a steal and four runs scored. The 34-year-old veteran utilityman will likely have to settle for a minor-league deal on the free-agent market this winter.

Braves Sign Ehire Adrianza To Minor-League Deal
Ehire Adrianza to a minor-league deal on Friday with an invite to big-league spring training. Adrianza will be a non-roster invite. The 33-year-old super-utility player will return to the Braves after spending the 2021 season with them. He started last season with the Washington Nationals before eventually being traded back to Atlanta. In 110 plate appearances over 37 games with the Nationals and Braves in 2022, Adrianza hit just .175/.264/.206 with no home runs, seven RBI, eight runs scored and a stolen base. He'll strictly be a bench player for the Braves if he makes the team out of spring training, and he doesn't have any real fantasy value. In 10 big-league seasons, Adrianza has a weak .239/.309/.354 slash line with 21 home runs and 149 RBI in 611 games.

Ehire Adrianza Comes Off Injured List
Ehire Adrianza (illness) from the 10-day injured list on Monday and designated infielder Ryan Goins for assignment in a corresponding move. Adrianza will return to a super-utility role for the Braves off the bench, but since he won't see regular playing time, he's well off the fantasy radar in mixed leagues. The 33-year-old switch-hitter is batting just .180/.260/213 with no home runs, seven RBI, seven runs scored and one stolen base in 100 plate appearances and 34 games for the Braves and Washington Nationals this year. Adrianza has played in just three games for the Braves this year.

Braves Acquire Ehire Adrianza From Nationals
Ehire Adrianza from the Washington Nationals on Monday in exchange for outfielder Trey Harris. In a corresponding move, the Braves designated infielder Robinson Cano for assignment. Adrianza spent the 2021 season in Atlanta, hitting .247/.327/.401 with five home runs, 28 RBI and 32 runs scored in 109 regular season games. The 32-year-old utility player will give the team some additional depth in both the infield and outfield, but he's unlikely to have much fantasy appeal, even in deeper leagues. In just 31 games for the Nationals this year, Adrianza has slashed .179/.255/.202 with no homers, seven RBI, five runs scored and one stolen base.
