Kevin Chappell Heads To U.S. Open In Horrible Form
7 years agoKevin Chappell heads to this week's U.S. Open in horrible form. He is coming off a terrible performance in the FedEx St. Jude Classic last week that included an ugly 77 in the second round. Chappell has missed the cut in five of his last six tournament appearances. After a promising start to the 2018 season, Chappell's game has been derailed by a back injury that he can't seem to recover from. Though he seems to be fully healthy now, he hasn't been the same caliber of player since suffering the injury at the end of March. He has struggled with keeping large numbers off his scorecard lately and a tough setup at Shinnecock Hills this week will only make matters worse. Chappell is an unplayable DFS option in his current form.
