ANALYSIS: San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Chris Stratton has had a strong stretch of games recently. He has allowed three runs, or less, in four consecutive games. He is 7-3 with a 4.63 ERA this season, posting a 1.44 WHIP in 68 innings, winning each of his last four outings.
That run could continue as he has road matchups against the Marlins and Dodgers this week. The Marlins are 30th in runs scored this season (215 runs in 62 games), making him a good option to begin the week. Naturally, Miami is also 28th in team wOBA (.294) against right-handed pitchers. As for the second opponent in Week 11, Stratton has started against the Dodgers three times already. While he has allowed six earned runs in his first outing of the Giants, Stratton has struck out 10 batters in 11 2/3 IP against San Francisco and has allowed 12 earned runs across his outings.
