Matt Duffy Drives In A Run Saturday Versus Seattle
7 years agoTampa Bay Rays third baseman Matt Duffy would drive in the first Tampa Bay run of the game which wiped out the only deficit the team would face in the game. He would record two hits to raise his season batting average to .319. In his last healthy season in 2015, he batted .295 with 12 home runs and 12 stolen bases. Duffy's floor is fairly solid as long as he is healthy. Duffy is only 27 years old as the 2018 season started so despite his slow start in the counting (runs, HR, RBI, steals) stats, there is hope for a boost as the season goes on. He should be owned in deeper leagues, especially in AL-only formats.
