Jake Bauers Hitting Second, Christian Arroyo Playing Third
6 years agoTampa Bay Rays first baseman Jake Bauers will hit second at home against the Mariners on Saturday. Bauers, who had five home runs and 10 steals at Triple-A this season, has yet to register a hit in eight plate appearances with the Rays. Hitting second in the lineup makes Bauers an interesting DFS play against right-handed pitcher Felix Hernandez. Utility infielder Christian Arroyo will play third base and will hope to add to his first home run for the Rays on Friday night. However, we would look to stay away from Arroyo in DFS Saturday, as he is hitting just.185 against right-handers in his major league career.
