FanDuel DFS Pitchers
Charlie Morton - P, HOU @ TEX (FD - $10,000)
Morton comes in with a 40% strikeout rate vs left-handed hitters this season with a 21% strikeout rate vs righties. He is one of the more consistent pitchers in the league this year and has put up seven or more strikeouts in four of his last five starts, with two games over 10. He has a WHIP sitting just over 1.00 and finds himself up against the Rangers, who have a 26% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers, which is second worst in the entire league. Morton makes a solid cash game option on tonight's slate.
Felix Hernandez - P, SEA @ TB (FD - $7,000)
We all know that King Felix isn't the same pitcher he once was, but he makes an interesting play at his price today. He is facing off against the Rays, who he faced in his most recent start. In that game he posted this stat line, 8 IP, 1 BB, 7 SO and only 1 ER. Really strong stuff from him and we will see if he can replicate that performance tonight. The Rays come in with a 22% strikeout rate vs right-handed pitchers this season, which isn't super high, but their offense is struggling right now and not a team you should truly fear.
FanDuel DFS Infielders
Yuli Gurriel - 1B, HOU @ TEX (FD - $2,700)
Gurriel is very cheap today and will have the platoon advantage against Minor, who is giving up a .379 wOBA to right-handed hitters this season. Gurriel has hits in 12 of his last 13 games, with limited power, but since he is under $3K, we aren't looking for too much from him.
Gleyber Torres - 2B, NYY @ NYM (FD - $3,900)
Torres and the Yankees right-handed hitters are in a fantastic spot tonight, so you should be looking to stack them up any way you can. He is facing off against Steven Matz, who is giving up 1.76 HR/9 to right-handed hitters this season, along with a 40% fly ball rate and a 36% hard contact rate. All of that lines up for the power of Torres to truly shine through.
Jake Lamb - 3B, ARI @ COL (FD - $3,900)
Lamb has hits in four straight games, with one home run last and is still under $4K tonight, oh, and not to mention he is at Coors Field. When there is an advantage you can get from the pricing of a player, you want to take it, this being one case. Lamb comes into this game with a .324 wOBA vs right-handed pitchers this season, which should be on the rise, given his .386 wOBA last season. He missed a lot of games this year for injury, so trending up, along with being underpriced.
Javier Baez - SS, CHC vs PIT (FD - $3,800)
Baez is a reverse splits hitter, meaning as a right-handed hitter, he is better vs right-handed pitchers, than he is vs lefties. He doesn't have a hit in his last four games, so more of a GPP play today, searching for the home run upside. Speaking of power, he has a .293 ISO this season vs right-handed pitchers and has hit 11 of his 14 home runs against righties.
FanDuel DFS Outfielders
Khris Davis - OF, OAK vs KAN (FD - $4,000)
Davis is as close to a must play as there is tonight. He is going up against Danny Duffy, who is a pure gas can of a pitcher, and you want to pick on him anytime he is on the slate. Duffy has a 49% fly ball rate to righties, with a 40% hard contact rate, which all leads to giving up 2.44 HR/9. Holy cow those are some rough numbers. Davis comes in with a .226 ISO vs left-handed pitchers this season, which lines up perfectly for a big power night.
Adam Eaton - OF, WAS vs SFG (FD - $2,000)
Eaton is set to come off the DL today and make his return to the Nationals lineup. This has not yet been confirmed, but there are reports stating that it "should" be happening today. He is the minimum salary today and will have the platoon advantage against Rodriguez, and gets you some exposure to the Nationals offense.
