Nelson Cruz Has Four Home Runs In Last 11 Games Played
7 years agoSeattle Mariners designated hitter Nelson Cruz went 2-for-4 Wednesday night, including his 11th home run of the season, in the 7-5 loss to the Astros. Cruz is beginning to really get his season going and now has two doubles, four home runs and 12 runs batted in over his last 11 games played. This stretch has taken his average up from .226 to .260 on the season, and he is slugging .579 over the past week. The Mariners open up a series on the road against Tampa Bay on Thursday night, and Cruz is hitting .302 with three home runs and six doubles in 86 at-bats on the road this season. Cruz is a great buy-low candidate in fantasy right now before he really begins to heat up.
