6 years agoTexas Ranges third baseman Adrian Beltre should return to the Rangers lineup on Thursday. Beltre received a day off on Wednesday but should be the designated hitter again on Thursday, according to manager Jeff Bannister. The Rangers are extremely committed to keeping Beltre healthy, as he has played third base just once since returning from the disabled list for a second time. In the long term, it is likely the Rangers will want Beltre to play the majority of games, but fantasy owners should expect him to have at least one game off a week for the foreseeable future. Beltre remains a top-10 third base option for the rest of the season, and owners should remain patient through this frustrating spell.--Ben Rolfe
