Sonny Gray Looks Terrific In No-Decision
6 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Sonny Gray accomplished something on Wednesday night that he’d never accomplished with this club. The 28-year-old tossed eight scoreless innings in Toronto against the Blue Jays. Gray was brilliant, allowing only two walks and two hits while striking out eight, tossing 99 pitches. It was easily his best start of the season and third quality start in four tries. Unfortunately for Gray, he walked away without a victory, as the Yankees and Blue Jays remained in a scoreless battle into extra innings.
