6 years agoBoston Red Sox superstar Mookie Betts (abdominal) is making progress on the injury that has kept him out since May 27. Red Sox manager Alex Cora said that Betts will be participating in batting practice on Thursday. He also mentioned that Betts had suggested a possible rehab stint in order to get his timing back at the plate. Betts is eligible to return from the disabled list on Friday, although it seems unlikely that he will return that soon. Regardless, this is good news for fantasy owners, as it seems that Betts will be able to come back to the lineup in the near future. Betts has registered a .359 average to go along with 17 home runs, 37 RBI and 13 stolen bases on the season.
