6 years agoAfter CC Sabathia’s strong pitching performance and Miguel Andujar’s clutch grand slam put the New York Yankees in prime position for a victory Tuesday night, the outfield provided late insurance. Taking on the Toronto Blue Jays at the Rogers Centre, the game was put out of reach in the eighth inning, as center fielder Aaron Hicks drilled a home run to right with two runners on. This increased New York’s lead to five runs, a lead that would remain in place through the final inning.
