Jeimer Candelario Pulled From Game After Injuring Hand
7 years agoDetroit Tigers third baseman Jeimer Candelario took a scorcher off of his throwing hand that was hit by Red Sox outfielder J.D. Martinez on Tuesday. The ground ball came off of the bat at 104.4 mph, and Candelario was immediately pulled from the game following the injury. Candelario currently has a .270 batting average with nine home runs and 26 RBI through 49 games in 2018. It would be a big loss to not only the Tigers lineup, but fantasy owners' lineups if he is to miss any time. Stay tuned for more information on the severity of his injury.
