Adam Warren Makes Appearance After Activation
7 years agoAfter being activated off the disabled list at the surprising expense of New York Yankees relief pitcher Tommy Kahnle, reliever Adam Warren wasted no time in making his return to the mound. The 30-year-old made an appearance in the second game of Monday’s doubleheader after starter Domingo German fell an out short of completing seven innings. Warren struggled with his command, walking three and allowing one hit in his 1 1/3 innings of work while tossing 39 pitches. He still managed to escape unharmed, however, not allowing a run and striking out one. When he’s in good form, Warren is usually an integral part of New York’s bullpen.
