7 years agoThe Cincinnati Reds selected third baseman Jonathan India out of Florida with the fifth pick in the MLB amateur draft. India has drawn comparisons to Josh Donaldson and Alex Bregman due to his combination of athleticism and power. India is strong and possesses multi-positional versatility but will most likely settle in at third base in the bigs. India is hitting .364 with 18 home runs, 12 steals and a .733 slugging percentage. The Reds have a history of moving prospects around the diamond, but consider India a third baseman for now.--Feldman Zach
