Giancarlo Stanton Smashes Home Run In Baltimore
6 years agoAfter Miguel Andujar’s two-run home run put the New York Yankees up in the second inning of Saturday afternoon’s matchup against the Baltimore Orioles, another home run increased the lead. It came an inning later off the bat of Giancarlo Stanton, who’s still trying to find his way with the Yankees. The 28-year-old stepped up to the plate with a runner on and proceeded to demolish a ball over the right-field fence. It was one of two hits for the DH, who was batting cleanup. It was the 12th home run of the season for the defending NL MVP, now tied with Gary Sanchez for second most on the team behind Aaron Judge.
