Tiger Woods Fights Through Back Stiffness In First Round
7 years agoTiger Woods fought through some back stiffness to shoot an even-par 72 in his opening round at The Memorial. Woods seemed uncomfortable at the start of his round, struggling to four-over through his first seven holes. As the round progressed, Tiger seemed to loosen up and he ran off three consecutive birdies on his way to shooting a back-nine 33. Woods will get his second round underway Friday afternoon. He currently sits seven shots back of the tournament leaders.
