Pedro Florimon Exits After Apparent Injury
7 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies had to go to their bench early on Tuesday night against the Dodgers in Los Angeles. With Rhys Hoskins out, infielder Pedro Florimon (foot) batted second and started at third. In the very first inning, however, he fouled a ball off his foot and would not emerge from the dugout to play defense in the bottom of the frame. Maikel Franco, who was originally scheduled to have the night off, took over at third base. At this point, there are no further updates on Florimon’s status, but we’ll provide them as soon as they emerge.
