Scooter Gennett Stays Hot On Monday
7 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Scooter Gennett stayed hot at the plate on Monday. The young second baseman went 3-for-5 with a run scored in his team's 12-5 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks on Monday. Gennett has been on fire at the plate lately, hitting .517 with three homers, seven runs and 10 RBI over the past seven days. Even more impressive is the fact that he is hitting .398 over the past 30 days. Gennett missed a few days earlier in the month with a sore shoulder, which must have been just what he needed to get it going at the plate. He is an everyday fantasy starter in all formats.
