Max Muncy Crushers Another Homer, Earns Starts At Second Base
7 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy hit a pinch-hit two-run home run, his sixth of the season. An impressed Dave Roberts mentioned after the game that Muncy will make some starts at second base to keep his bat in the lineup. In just 83 at-bats Muncy has an OPS of .872 and has 14 walks to go with his 26 strikeouts. With nobody at second base running away with the job, he could become a permanent fixture in the lineup. If that happens, expect him to be a popular waiver wire pickup. Deep league players might want to avoid the rush and grab him now.
