David Njoku Expected To Be Full-Time Starter In 2018
7 years agoAccording to a report, the Cleveland Browns plan to make tight end David Njoku the full-time starter heading into the 2018 season. Njoku, one of the team's 2017 first-round picks, split snaps with tight ends Seth DeValve and Randall Telfer during his rookie season, which ate into his production. Telfer is no longer with the team, although he was replaced by Darren Fells, who is primarily a blocker. Njoku is an athletic freak and has the potential to break out as a low-end TE1 in 2018. He is interesting as a low-end TE1 in redraft leagues for those who plan to wait on the position. Njoku also has top-five upside in dynasty formats.
