Golden Knights Advance To Stanley Cup Finals
7 years agoOn Sunday afternoon, the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Winnipeg Jets 2-1 to secure their spot in the Stanley Cup finals. Vegas took this series with ease, winning it quickly in five games. It's clear that there are no signs of them slowing down, as they have lost only three games this postseason. Alex Tuch netted the first goal on a turnover right in front of Connor Hellybuyck. Winnipeg native Ryan Reaves scored the go-ahead and his first postseason goal that won them Game 5. Goalie Marc Andre-Fleury is clearly the toughest goalie to get the puck past, making 31 saves on 32 shots, improving to a .947 save percentage with a 1.68 goals-against average this postseason. The Golden Knights will face the Washington Capitals or the Tampa Bay Lightning in the finals.
