Chicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ had a big day at the plate, as he continues to figure things out this season. He had three extra-base hits in game one of two against the Cincinnati Reds Saturday afternoon. Happ broke out onto the scene in 2017, hitting 24 home runs with a .253 AVG. His average is down to .238 so far this season, and he has five HR. This big day may help get him on a hot streak like he seemingly was on for the entirety of last season.--Blake Sullivan

Chicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ (oblique) remains out of the team's starting lineup for Monday's series opener against the visiting Miami Marlins at Wrigley Field. Happ is being considered day-to-day with oblique discomfort, but this will be the third straight game that he has missed. If the 30-year-old's absence extends further into this week and weekend, it could quickly become an injured-list situation. The good news is he was able to take swings in the batting cage on Sunday. Seiya Suzuki is starting in left field and batting third, while catcher Carson Kelly is serving a the designated hitter on Monday and batting fifth against Marlins right-hander Cal Quantrill. Chicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ (oblique) remains out of the starting nine on Sunday when the Cubs play the final game of their three-game set against the New York Mets. Happ was unable to suit up on Saturday due to this oblique injury. However, the team noted this injury is not overly serious and that he should be considered day-to-day. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status leading up to their next game on Monday evening against the Miami Marlins. Instead, Seiya Suzuki will cover left field for the second-straight contest. This opens the DH spot for Justin Turner. In addition, center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong will remain in the leadoff spot. This afternoon, the Cubs have streaming appeal in DFS facing Griffin CanningUPDATE: Happ played catch and took swings on Sunday and is considered day-to-day. Chicago Cubs outfielder Ian Happ (oblique) is out of the starting lineup ahead of Saturday's game against the New York Mets. Happ reportedly felt something in his oblique following his first plate appearance on Friday. The switch-hitter stayed in the game, but will get Saturday night off as a precaution. It wouldn't be shocking to see Happ get the weekend off, but hopefully he'll be back in the lineup soon. For now, fantasy managers should consider Happ as day-to-day until more information is available. Seiya Suzuki will cover left field and bat third versus right-hander Tylor Megill.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
