Aaron Hicks Picks Up Three Hits In Loss
7 years agoThe one bright spot for the New York Yankees in their three-run defeat to the Kansas City Royals on Friday night was outfielder Aaron Hicks. Batting sixth and starting in center, he recorded three hits in four plate appearances, scoring a run on a sixth-inning sacrifice fly. The Yankees displayed some signs of rust on the night, not playing at their best against a lowly opponent in the Royals. Hicks, however, made the most of his game, picking up nearly half of his club’s total eight hits on the night.
