Chicago White Sox relief pitcher Nate Jones was called on for the save Thursday evening. Jones hit the first batter he faced and allowed a hit but was able to escape by striking out Delino DeShields to end the contest. Jones allowed four runs in his last save chance and manager Rick Renteria turned to Bruce Rondon this past Sunday for the save. The White Sox closer situation is not solidified and in addition to Jones and Rondon, Joakim Soria has four saves.
