Robinson Cano Diagnosed With A Fractured Bone In Hand
7 years agoUpdating an earlier post, Robinson Cano's X-ray taken at the stadium revealed that he fractured his fifth metacarpal on his right hand. In most cases a metacarpal break takes six to eight weeks to heal, so a DL stint is imminent. This is a huge loss for the Mariners who have already suffered a lot of injuries this season. With Cano being out, Dee Gordon could see some time at second base, and Taylor Motter could be recalled soon.
