7 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Madison Bumgarner is scheduled to throw off of a mound on Monday and to return after two minor league rehab starts. The Giants manager Bruce Bochy even stated that he could be back after one rehab start if he can get close to 75 pitches in. Bumgarner is eligible to return on May 25th and all signs point to him returning very soon after that date. The Giants may want to work their ace back in slowly after missing most of last year with a shoulder injury and most of this year with a hand injury. Either way, this is fantastic news for owners and, if you have been wisely holding Bumgarner so far this season, your reward will be coming soon.--Steve McCarthy - RotoBaller
