Terry Rozier Ruled Out For Wednesday
Terry Rozier (ankle) has been downgraded to out for Wednesday's Game 2 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He injured his left ankle in Monday's practice and was initially considered questionable for the contest. Rozier has not had a role in Miami's regular rotation, so his absence won't make much of a difference. Davion Mitchell has been the first guard off the bench and is likely to shoulder a big load again on Wednesday night. He almost posted a double-double in Game 1, notching 18 points and nine assists in 34 minutes.

Terry Rozier Hurts Ankle Monday
Terry Rozier (ankle) was hurt during an optional workout on Monday. Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald reports that Rozier sprained his left ankle and will be listed as questionable on the injury report for Wednesday's Game 2 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. This marks a fresh setback for Rozier, who has looked like a shadow of his former self in 2024-25 and fell out of the rotation at the end of the regular season. He also didn't take the floor against Cleveland in Sunday's Game 1.

Terry Rozier Cleared To Play Wednesday
Terry Rozier (illness) will be active on Wednesday against the Los Angeles Clippers. He has shaken off an illness, with the team upgrading Rozier from probable to available. The veteran guard has a tendency to blow hot and cold, and he finished Monday's matchup against the Charlotte Hornets with only four points on 20 percent shooting. Rozier has produced 7.4 points per game since the All-Star break, making him an unattractive fantasy target.

Terry Rozier Will Not Play Thursday Against The Mavericks
Terry Rozier (illness) will miss a second straight game while battling a stomach bug that has been circulating in the Heat's locker room. Rozier also missed Wednesday night's loss in Oklahoma City, allowing Davion Mitchell to start alongside Tyler Herro in the backcourt. Mitchell had 14 points, three assists, a steal, and a rebound in his 35 minutes, and he'll likely get plenty of work again on Thursday. Duncan Robinson (illness) will return from his one-game absence, but Mitchell's playing time should be relatively secure since Andrew Wiggins (illness) will join Rozier on the sidelines.
