7 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys selected Boise State linebacker Leighton Vander Esch with the No. 19 overall pick in the 2018 NFL draft. Vander Esch brings speed and athleticism to a Cowboys defense that was sorely lacking it. He also played basketball in his youth and had a 40-inch vertical at the combine. He'll bring size, length, instincts and athleticism up the middle to pair with the oft-injured Sean Lee. Vander Esch can defend the run and the pass.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
