7 years agoArizona Diamondbacks shortstop Nick Ahmed went 1-for-3 with a walk and his fourth home run of the season in Thursday's win against the Phillies. Despite being in a slump which has dropped his average to .194, Ahmed has managed to hit two home runs and collect five RBI (including three Thursday) in his last three games. Ahmed made some changes to his swing this season, and it's resulted in increased offensive production thus far. His average will likely hurt owners all year, but those in deep leagues can spot start Ahmed against weaker pitchers hoping that the Diamondbacks offense can carry him.--Jonathan Chan - Rotoballer
