7 years agoArizona Diamondbacks shortstop Nick Ahmed will be out of the lineup on Wedneday against the Phillies. After a strong start to the season, Ahmed has slowed considerably at the plate, collecting just three hits in his last 10 games. Despite his offensive shortcomings, Ahmed rarely gets a day off due to his excellent defense. While he's out, Ketel Marte will slide over to shortstop, while Chris Owings will play at second base.
