7 years agoOakland Athletics closer Blake Treinen (shin) should be good to pitch in Friday's game after a day off Thursday, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. He took a liner to his left knee in the eighth inning against the Rangers. Manager Bob Melvin stated Treinen has a bruised right shin and is confident in using his reliever on Friday.
