CC Sabathia Goes Six Innings In Victory
7 years agoMaking his second start since returning from a disabled list stint, New York Yankees veteran left-hander CC Sabathia had his finest start of the season on Tuesday night. The 37-year-old went a season-long six innings, not giving up an earned run while conceding two hits and a walk. Sabathia also struck out four, tossing 82 pitches in his first victory of the season. The Yankees are currently playing their best baseball of the season, and with Sabathia going well, they look even stronger. The 2009 World Series champion is scheduled to make his next start in Anaheim on Sunday against the Angels.
