7 years agoAfter exiting Monday night’s game with lower back stiffness and subsequently sitting out Tuesday’s game, New York Yankees shortstop Gleyber Torres will return to the Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders starting lineup Wednesday. The top Yankees prospect will start at third base and bat second  in the afternoon series finale against the Atlanta Braves affiliated Gwinnett Stripers. Torres has been subject to much speculation about an imminent promotion to the major leagues, as he continues to excel in the minors while the Yankees struggle through the first 16 games of the season. Now that he’s been deemed healthy enough to start again, he may indeed land a promotion in the coming days. Torres should be stashed in all leagues.--RDelgado
