Jrue Holiday Scores 33 Points In Win
7 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday lit up the Portland Trail Blazers once again in a 111-102 win in Game 2. Holiday was superb, making 14 of 24 shots en route to a playoff career-high 33 points to go along with nine assists while grabbing three boards. Holiday has been dominating this series at both ends, holding Damian Lillard to just 13-for-41 shooting while Holiday is averaging 27.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists in the two games thus far. His big payday by the Pelicans in the offseason is making much more sense these days and Holiday is worth a look in Game 3, as he is playing so well while showing no signs of slowing down.
