Luiz Gohara Has Rough Outing In Minor League Start
7 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Luiz Gohara looked a bit rusty on Tuesday during his Double-A rehab start. He went 3 1/3 innings and walked three hitters while throwing 35 strikes over the course of 65 pitches. That's a ratio of more balls to strikes than he would have likely preferred. Gohara gave up five runs, although only one was earned. The front office would surely like to see more progress before they call him up to the majors. Gohara could become an NL-only option when he returns to the Braves sometime in May.
