Charlie Blackmon May Stay In Heart Of Lineup
7 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon knocked his seventh homer of the season on Monday night -- second most in the majors -- and the Rockies may be considering keeping the big bopper in the heart of the lineup. Before Monday's game, manager Bud Black mentioned that he would consider keeping Blackmon batting third after third baseman Nolan Arenado returns from his suspension. Second baseman DJ LeMahieu would continue as the team's leadoff hitter in that scenario. Whether there's any truth to the consideration remains to be seen, but the lineup move could mean more RBI for Blackmon.
