New Injury Arises For Jacoby Ellsbury
7 years agoThe beginning of the 2018 baseball year continues to be a nightmare for New York Yankees veteran outfielder Jacoby Ellsbury (hip, oblique, foot). Having already lost his starting spot in the New York Yankees outfield, the 34-year-old has dealt with oblique and hip injuries. This has resulted in numerous setbacks, as he remains in Tampa Bay hoping to return to game form. On Monday, it was revealed that Ellsbury is dealing with plantar fasciitis and a heel injury to his right foot. This will prevent the veteran from resuming baseball activities. At this point, he remains without a clear timetable for a return and simply shouldn’t be depended on.
