Los Angeles Kings forward Alex Iafallo was back in the lineup for Game 3 against Vegas and he had a good outing, starting it off with his first career postseason goal in the opening period. He had missed Game 2 as a healthy scratch, so he certainly made it sure that head coach John Stevens wouldn't leave him out again. The 24-year-old rookie is in a good spot to perform, as he plays on the first line with Anze Kopitar and Dustin Brown, but his fantasy value is limited because he doesn't get any power-play time. He spent less than 13 minutes on the ice on Sunday, adding three shots and one block to his tally.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

The Winnipeg Jets acquired winger Alex Iafallo in a trade with the Los Angeles Kings on Tuesday. The 29-year-old was involved in a deal that sent Pierre-Luc Dubois to California. Iafallo will pack his bags for the first time in his career, having signed with the Kings in 2017 after going undrafted. The Eden, New York native tallied 85 goals and 204 points in 420 games with the team. Iafallo played the best hockey of his career last season, but he couldn't get more than 36 points after missing over 20 games with a lower-body injury. He should have a good chance to get past his current career best of 43 points next season in Winnipeg if he stays healthy.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Kings left wing Alex Iafallo (lower body) will make his first appearance since Oct. 17 in Tuesday's battle with the Senators. He will skate in only his fifth game of the season after going down very early on with a lower-body injury. It was a bitter blow for Iafallo at the start of the campaign, as he had opened the year in hot form with two goals and three assists in four games. He will go on the third line Tuesday to skate with Gabriel Vilardi and Adrian Kempe.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Kings left wing Alex Iafallo (lower body) is on the cusp of returning to the lineup. He's expected to make his comeback during the team's upcoming six-game road trip. Iafallo has been out of action with a lower-body injury since Oct. 17. He had a hot start to the year before getting hurt, notching two goals and three assists in the first four games of the season. Iafallo has been practicing on the third line with Adrian Kempe and Gabriel Vilardi, who are both among the team's top goal-scorers this season, so he is going to make his return in a pretty nice position. The trip starts Tuesday in Ottawa and it's not out of the question that Iafallo will already join the lineup then.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller

Los Angeles Kings forward Alex Iafallo (lower body) was placed on injured reserve on Tuesday. Iafallo exited Monday's 5-4 overtime victory against the Red Wings late in the third period. Prior to the injury, Iafallo had an assist to extend his point streak to four games (two goals, three assists) to begin the 2022-23 season. The 28-year-old recorded 17 goals and 20 assists through 79 games last season, and he is a solid forward option in deeper fantasy formats.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
