If you've never played on Draft Daily before, it is fairly similar to the other sites, but you tend to lose more points. Points are taken away for strikeouts and home runs allowed, but you also earn points for sacrifice flies. Before creating a lineup, make sure you look over the scoring system.
In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftDaily on 4/13/18. The lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

Draft Daily - DFS Starting Pitchers
Gerrit Cole - P, vs TEX ($12,100)
Cole has been one of the best pitchers in the MLB this season, giving up one earned run, while recording 22 strikeouts in only two games. He has also thrown well against the Texas Rangers once this season, allowing two hits (one run), while striking out 11 batters over seven innings. He's currently a -237 favorite in a game set at 8.5 runs. Cole makes a great option in all leagues.
Eduardo Rodriguez - P, vs BAL ($8,500)
Rodriguez is not necessarily the safest option on the mound tonight, but he comes with tremendous upside for his price tag. In his only game this season, E-Rod allowed three runs on five hits (two walks), while striking out seven over 3.2 innings. He gets a matchup against a strikeout prone Baltimore Orioles team, although they do come with some power, as well. Rodriguez is a -200 favorite in a game set at 10 runs, making him a high upside option tonight.
Draft Daily - DFS Infielders
Francisco Cervelli - C, at MIA ($3,400)
Cervelli has looked outstanding on the road this season, recording a .360 average, .720 slugging percentage, and 1.080 OPS through six road games. While the sample size is limited, it displays Cervelli's potential. Tonight, he gets a great matchup against Dillon Peters, who is coming off a tough start against the Philadelphia Phillies. Cervelli was a slightly better hitter against right-handed pitching last season, and he can be considered in all leagues tonight.
Mitch Moreland - 1B, vs BAL ($3,300)
Moreland is far from a consistent option, but he comes with power and upside for a lower price tag. He struggled early on the road this season before finding his groove over his last three home games. He hit 21 of his 22 home runs against right-handed pitching in 2017, and he recorded 0.072 wOBA and 0.181 ISO differentials against righties this season. He should not be used in cash games, but he makes a high upside tournament option.
Jed Lowrie - 2B, at SEA ($3,400)
Lowrie has gotten off to a hot start this season, hitting .333 with a .556 slugging percentage and a .945 OPS. He is a switch hitter that is more consistent and powerful from the left side of the plate. That will be where he's hitting tonight, as he gets a great matchup against Mike Leake. Lowrie has been striking out a lot recently, and he has not necessarily been a safe option, but he comes with tremendous GPP potential on this slate.
Anthony Rendon - 3B, vs COL ($4,400)
Rendon is an option that can be considered any time he is facing off against left-handed pitching. In 2017, he recorded a .337 average with a 51.4% extra-base hits rate against left-handed pitchers. Tonight, he gets a good matchup against Kyle Freeland, who has somewhat struggled in each of his two starts this season. Rendon has been playing well enough to consider in all leagues tonight.
Marcus Semien - SS, at SEA ($3,000)
Semien has been a reverse splits hitter, meaning he was better against right-handed pitching in 2017. Overall, he was slightly more consistent with more power against righties. As you know, he gets a matchup against Mike Leake tonight, and that is one Semien should be able to take advantage of. He is hitting near the top of the A's order, making him a great option for a low price tag tonight.
Draft Daily - DFS Outfielders
Mike Trout - CF, at KC ($5,600)
Trout is only hitting for a .273 average this season, which is low for his standards. That will likely increase, but he has displayed quite a bit of power, as he has five home runs through his first 14 games. He was a dominant hitter against right-handed pitching last season, as well, recording a .313 average with 30 of his 33 home runs coming against righties. He's an elite option if you can spare the money.
Matt Joyce - RF, at SEA ($3,100)
Joyce is a player that hits right-handed pitching extremely well. Last season, he recorded 0.118 wOBA and 0.172 ISO differentials against righties, while also hitting for a .253 average against them. More importantly, 93.1% of his extra-base hits and 96% of his home runs came against right-handed pitching in 2017. He is somewhat of a consistent option, and he comes with tremendous upside, as well.
