7 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels have released a medical update on right-handed pitcher Matt Shoemaker. The report states that the study performed earlier this week produced no findings of nerve irritation. As such, Shoemaker will undergo a follow-up exam in a few weeks and will be treated accordingly. So while this is good news overall, Shoemaker is still a few weeks away from even potentially throwing a baseball. He is likely going to be out for a while, so he should not be held except in very deep leagues with multiple disabled list spots.--patton
