7 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Clint Frazier (concussion) played in a simulated game on Thursday afternoon in Tampa, a massive step forward for the youngster. Frazier suffered a concussion early in spring training and has struggled with symptoms, delaying his return and subsequently landing him on the disabled list. Frazier’s injury, combined with multiple injuries to the Yankees outfield, has left them depleted. While the 23-year-old took a significant step Thursday, he remains some time away from any possible return to game action. Manager Aaron Boone said on Thursday that Frazier would undergo spring training-like preparation, leaving his return still weeks away at best.--RDelgado
