Newly-Acquired Trayce Thompson Sent To Triple-A
7 years agoWith a string of injuries in the outfield, the New York Yankees made a move, acquiring outfielder Trayce Thompson off waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers. The 27-year-old son of former basketball player Mychal Thompson and brother of current All-Star guard Klay Thompson only played in 27 games last season, spending time in the minors. With the Yankees, he’ll do the same, reporting to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Thompson figures to remain a minor leaguer but should injuries arise once more, he could see time with the big league team in the Bronx.
