7 years agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Brandin Cooks, who was acquired from the Patriots on Tuesday, has already been working with quarterback Jared Goff this offseason. The Rams view Cooks as more of an impact player than what they could have gotten at 23rd overall in the first round of the draft, and they still have eight picks, including four in the top 136. Rams head coach Sean McVay was clearly excited about the possibilities of Cooks in this offense for now and in the future. He's a deep threat home run hitter that has recorded three straight 1,000-yard seasons, but he can be a bit too boom or bust for fantasy owners. Cooks will surely come with a high fantasy price tag in a rising offense, but he could be a bust in point-per-reception formats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
